OnePlus introduces its own imaging engine- OnePlus DetailMax Engine; Likely for the upcoming OnePlus 15 smartphone

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has today officially introduced its own imaging engine called OnePlus DetailMax Engine. This engine is built in partnership with Hasselblad. For five years, OnePlus and Hasselblad have worked side by side, blending Hasselblad’s color science and OnePlus’ engineering and computational technology, and now both companies have again partnered for this latest innovation.

Hasselblad’s refined aesthetic sense is now part of OnePlus’s imaging DNA. OnePlus DetailMax Engine is designed not just to capture the world but to reveal it in entirely real and clear ways. It is said to deliver the clearest and most real photos on a smartphone, harnessing the full potential of computational imaging to present scenes as they truly are, without over-beautification or distortion.

It is revealed that a very early prototype is currently being tested, and it is expected that by launch, the OnePlus camera will set a new standard for clarity in its class with the help of the OnePlus DetailMax Engine. The brand has also thanked the Hasselblad team and community members in the announcement post for their contribution.

The company has said to introduce this imaging engine in its next flagship. Probably, we will get to see the enhanced imaging experience provided by OnePlus DetailMax Engine in the upcoming OnePlus 15 smartphone, which is rumored to launch by the end of October or early November this year in China.
