Google I/O is Google’s annual developer conference, where the company makes announcements related to Android, new features across its platforms and more. Yesterday, the company officially announced the dates for this year’s Google I/O event.

The Google I/O 2026 event is scheduled for May 19-20 at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California and the entire conference will be live-streamed on io.google. The event will start on May 19 at 10 AM PT.

It is not specifically mentioned what new announcements will be made at this event, but in its blog post, Google did reveal that you will learn about its latest AI breakthroughs and product updates across the company, from Gemini to Android. Chrome, Cloud and more. You will also get to know about agentic coding and the latest Gemini model updates.
Other than this, the event will also be featuring keynote addresses from Google leaders, fireside chats, product demos and more.
