OnePlus – After-Sales Expansion in India (Service Network to Grow by 50% by April 2026)

OnePlus, in its latest announcement, has confirmed that it aims to increase its service centres from around 400 to 600+ by April 2026 in India. This expansion will cover more than 500 cities, mainly focusing on tier 2 and tier 3 markets. For this, the company will be using OPPO’s already established service network in India. With these additional service centres, users will likely see reduced travel and wait time.

Moving forward, OnePlus will focus more on a direct-to-consumer model. This means the brand will be reducing its offline presence and will likely prioritise online sales via Amazon, Flipkart, and its official website. Those who don’t know, when OnePlus first entered India in 2014, it was initially sold exclusively via Amazon India. So it looks like the company might be going back to its roots. However, whether this change will benefit consumers in terms of pricing or offers is something that remains to be seen.

OnePlus has also confirmed that there will be no change in existing warranties, user commitments and software updates. Thus shutting down the rumours that OnePlus may not give updates to the already available smartphones.

In other news, OnePlus is also set to launch the Nord 6 smartphone in India on April 7th 2026. Apart from this, as per recent rumours, two more smartphones are also in works. These are Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite, which, as per a tipster, could launch in May. However, the company has not officially confirmed anything regarding these devices yet.
