Patanjali Ayurved has taken a U-turn on coronil medicine. In response to a notice from the Uttarakhand Ayush Department, Patanjali has said that he has not made any medicines for Corona. Recently, the launch of Coronil took place in the presence of yoga guru Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balakrishna.

Swami Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurved has reversed its claim to make Corona medicine after being surrounded by the notice of the Ministry of AYUSH. In response to a notice sent to Uttarakhand’s AYUSH department, Patanjali has said that he never claimed to manufacture corona medicines. Rather, he has created a medicine that has cured Corona patients.

Acharya Balakrishna, president of Patanjali Ayurved, says, ‘Patanjali Ayurved still holds its claim and medicine. We have never claimed to make corona drugs. According to the government’s guidelines, the medicines made by taking permission have been cured by Corona patients. The notice issued by the Department of AYUSH has been answered.

On June 23, Patanjali Ayurved claimed to make Corona medicine in association with Nimes University of Rajasthan. This drug was named coronil and inhaler buty. Coronil was launched in Haridwar in the presence of yoga guru Baba Ramdev, Acharya Balakrishna and Chairman of Nims University. It was also claimed at the press conference on behalf of Patanjali Ayurved that a clinical test has also been done on corona patients.

However, soon after, the AYUSH department of the Ministry of Health denied this claim of Patanjali Ayurved. The ministry said that a license has not been obtained from Patanjali to manufacture corona medicines. At the same time, the Ayush Department of Uttarakhand had also said that a license to make immunity boosters was taken by Patanjali Ayurved.Along with this, the AYUSH department had also issued a show cause notice to Patanjali Ayurveda seeking a reply within a week. In response to this notice, Patanjali has retracted his claims that he has never claimed to make Corona’s medicine.
