Anthropic, the company behind the Claude family of large language models (LLM), has now announced that its Microsoft 365 connectors will be made available across all subscription tiers.

Microsoft 365 Connectors Now Available Across All Subscriptions
The Microsoft 365 connectors were initially introduced back in October for Claude Team and Enterprise subscribers. However, now this feature has been expanded to all subscription models, including the free one.
To note, the feature will only work with Microsoft 365 business accounts and personal accounts ending with domains such as outlook.com, hotmail.com, or live.com will not be supported. Additionally, an important prerequisite is that organisation admins must first enable access before individual users can authenticate and use the feature.
How to activate Microsoft 365 Connectors:-
- Sign in to your Claude account using your credentials
- Open the settings page
- Navigate to the Connectors section
- Alternatively, you can directly visit: https://claude.ai/settings/connectors
- Click on the Browse Connectors option
- Search for Microsoft 365
- Select the Connect option
- Sign in using your organisation email ID (work or college account)
- Approve the required permissions
- Once completed, the connector will be activated and ready to use
This is going to be helpful in many scenarios, for example, a team member can ask Claude to find a specific message within a long conversation thread. Similarly, users can retrieve notes stored in OneDrive by simply giving a command and requesting specific details.
With this expansion, a wider range of users, including students who previously did not have access to higher-tier plans, will now be able to make use of this functionality.
