Samsung decides to make OLED displays for iPads, MacBooks

The electronic manufacturer tech, Samsung has now decided to set up a new production line to produce big OLED displays which will be a perfect fit for the devices like tablets and notebooks. Consequently, the company is working to fulfill the orders for the future Apple products.

Consequently, the Samsung company’s future production line will be done at an another factory which will be capable of creating OLED displays at large. The company has also stated the OLED display will also be made for the MacBook Pro model.

Initially, Apple reported that it plans to release its first iPad Pro models with OLED displays in the coming 2024. Also, the company stated that the Samsung would make the displays for those models.

The OLED panels uses self-emitting pixels, that means the panels itself will use softly bright and radiant lights. Consequently, it will not require any backlighting, which could enhance the contrast ratio. This could also make the device have a longer battery life on the future iPad and MacBook models.
