Samsung Auto – One UI 8 Support
With the new v3.1.03.18, Samsung Auto has been made to support the One UI 8 custom skin, and features that allow Samsung Galaxy smartphone users to have an easier and safer driving experience have been brought. These features will also enable users to stay connected, while they keep their eyes on the road.
Among the new features, Screen Mirroring is the first and it will provide users with the capability to mirror their smartphone’s display on to the car’s display screen. Apps, maps, and more from the smartphone can thus be accessed on the car screen. The App Voice Call Continuity feature is the other, and it will let users access the voice call notifications from apps directly on the car screen. For this, app notifications and voice call alerts will have to be turned on.
In the Samsung Auto Settings, users will be able to find options like ‘Use Samsung Auto While Phone is Locked’, ‘Add Samsung Auto to Home screen’, and ‘App Voice Call Continuity’. Additionally, details concerning ‘Permissions’ and ‘Privacy Notice’ are also given as options.
As per what has been revealed, more features can still be expected on Samsung Auto as the brand still aims to enhance its users driving experience with their Samsung Galaxy smartphones.
