Samsung announces AirDrop Support via Quick Share for Galaxy S26 series

Last year in November, Google brought AirDrop support for Quick Share to the Pixel 10 series, and this year, this support was extended for the Pixel 9 series as well. The company also announced that the AirDrop interoperability will be expanded to more Android devices.
Well, the South Korean tech giant Samsung has now announced the introduction of AirDrop support for its Galaxy S26 series, making it easier for users to share content between devices using Quick Share.

This feature will enable easier file transfer across devices and different ecosystems using Quick Share.
How to access the feature?
- Go to Settings
- Click on Connected devices
- Tap on Quick Share
- Click on Share with Apple Devices and turn on the feature to transfer files
Availability
Today, this feature has started rolling out, starting in Korea and expanding to more regions, including Europe, Hong Kong, Japan, Latin America, North America, Southeast Asia, and Taiwan.
The AirDrop Support is initially available on the Galaxy S26 series. The company has stated that the feature will be further expanded to additional devices, and the availability details will be announced at a later date.
