OpenAI releases a new update for ChatGPT; You can now adjust specific characteristics in ChatGPT

What if we tell you that now you can choose the tone in which ChatGPT responds to you? OpenAI has released a new update for ChatGPT, allowing you to adjust specific characteristics within the platform.

You can now adjust specific characteristics in ChatGPT, like warmth, enthusiasm, and emoji use.

This update allows users to fine-tune response styles like warmth, enthusiasm, headers, lists, and emoji usage. You will now have the option to choose whether you want ‘more’ or ‘less’ of these personality traits. Though users need not worry, as these adjustments will not affect what ChatGPT can or cannot do, or the rules it follows for safety.

You can adjust the characteristics by tapping your Personalization settings and choosing Add Characteristics. This new update will make ChatGPT’s answers feel personal and less restricted or casual.

Apart from these characteristics, users can also choose a personality for ChatGPT- Professional, Friendly, Candid, Quirky, Efficient, Nerdy, and Cynical. Personality is a combination of traits, voice, and behaviour that shapes how answers feel, whether that is friendly and casual, concise and professional, or something else entirely.
