Blinkit’s New Update – Now Users Can Add More Items After Ordering
This exciting news has been shared by Albinder Dhindsa himself – the founder of Blinkit (earlier Grofers), and as per his X post, he notes that with the new update, users will be able to add more items onto a single order itself, even after placing it. He further adds that many of the Blinkit users have been asking for this feature, and so far the only option left for them was to place a second order when they forget to buy something.
During the time the order is being packed, users will be offered the option to add the forgotten items, or the items they suddenly thought of buying. Moreover, users won’t have to pay any additional delivery charge for this, and the again added items will be brought to them along with the items that were initially booked. From the image shared, it is understood that the feature is integrated on the real-time tracking order page, and a countdown clock has also been given (to inform when the window will close).
Looking into the user feedback, all the comments talk about how useful this feature is, pointing out that this has always been a much needed feature.
