Grok gets a new British male voice named Leo (for Android)

Grok’s voice feature allows users to communicate with the AI via voice command and hear responses. This feature supports multiple languages and aims to make conversations more natural and efficient. The voice mode also helps in real-time visual analysis that improves human-AI interaction.

Well, there is some good news for Android users! Grok has got a new British male voice called Leo.

This new voice is available alongside Ara (upbeat female), Eve (soothing female), Rex (calm male), and Sal (smooth male) voice options. To try out the new voice, Android users should update the Grok app. This offers an enhanced experience to users with culturally diverse voice options.

Recently, a new update was made available for Grok on the App Store (iOS devices), which will bring a refreshed design to the Imagine feature. A Make video with Grok feature was also introduced for iOS users to turn an image on X into a video in 17 seconds. xAI has previously introduced the new ‘Auto’ and ‘Expert’ modes on Grok, which now let users access the latest Grok 4 absolutely free of cost. xAI also upgraded the PDF processing capability for its Grok 4 AI assistant.
