Listed as ‘Grok – AI Assistant’ on the Google Play Store, Elon Musk-headed xAI-developed app is now revealed to have achieved 1 million+ reviews and 4.8 star rating.

Grok Gets 1 Million+ Reviews and 4.8 Star Rating on Play Store
Just recently, the Grok Heavy subscribers were provided with the early access for Imagine (xAI’s latest image/video generation model) and Valentine (xAI’s interactive AI companion or digital persona) and following this, for the ‘Grok – AI Assistant’ app, over a million reviews have been posted on Play Store. Furthermore, it has also now received a 4.8 star total rating, and Google’s Play Store has listed it as 4th among the top grossing productivity apps (after Google One, ChatGPT, and Adobe Acrobat Reader).
About the ‘Grok – AI Assistant’ app, just like most AI assistants and applications available in the market, Grok also offers answers to questions and generates images for its users. Additionally, users can also upload images and gain more insights too regarding their questions. It has a total size of 12.97 MB and it is compatible with devices running on Android 9 and later. The current version available is the v1.0.20-release.00, and over 5,00,00,000 users have downloaded it via Play Store so far.
In related news, last month in July 2025, xAI released the latest Grok 4 and in the same month itself, it was made available for Perplexity Pro and Max subscribers. AI companions were also brought to the Grok app for Super Grok subscribers, and the new Auto mode which was initially made available on web is reportedly now also available on the mobile app version too.
