Gemini App – 3D Hologram Feature Using Nano Banana Introduced
Via Google’s X handle for its Gemini app, the brand has announced the arrival of this new 3D hologram conversion feature and the same has also been shared by Alexander Chen – the Creative Director at the Google Creative Lab. Alexander Chen can also be seen demonstrating it and in the sample shared, we can see how a Pixel phone has been converted into a transparent line art hologram. As pointed out, the new feature relies on the latest Nano Banana (or Gemini 2.5 Flash Image) model, and all Gemini users can now try it out for themselves. Users will just have to upload an image and use the prompt ‘Turn the [object] into a 3D transparent line art hologram’. Just to add, multiple users have already shared their results, and all of them show how promising the new 3D hologram conversion feature is.

Speaking of a few other related updates, Google just recently released its September 2025 Pixel Drop bringing Material 3 Expressive, Glanceable Maps, and many more features to eligible Pixel users. Additionally, the brand also introduced Pixel Care+ for Made by Google products, new AI-powered personal health coach (coming to Fitbit in October 2025), and new AI-powered live translation and language learning tools on the Google Translate.
