Get your Jeevan Pramaan Certificate instantly with the Umang App; Here’s how you can do it

The Indian pensioners are required to submit a Life Certificate to the Pension Disbursing Authorities (PDAs) in November every year, either by presenting themselves personally or by delivering a life certificate in the prescribed format to provide proof of their aliveness so that they can get their due pension without any fraud involved.

Sometimes, the requirement to produce/submit this certificate causes huge hardships to the aged/ill pensioners. To simplify the process of submission, the government has digitalised this process by introducing the Digital Life Certificate for pensioners called Jeevan Pramaan. You can simply follow some easy steps to get the Jeevan Pramaan Certificate via the UMANG app.

Steps to get the Jeevan Pramaan Certificate via the UMANG app

Open the official UMANG app on your phone and log in using your mobile number and OTP
Use the search bar to find Jeevan Pramaan and choose the service
Enter Aadhaar and pension details, then complete the next step by visiting the Citizen Service Center
Submit the request and receive your Jeevan Pramaan ID instantly

Users have the option to generate the Jeevan Pramaan certificate at home or through a Citizen Service Center (CSC).

This digitalised process also reduces the chances of wrongful disbursal of pension.

UMANG
