This probably isn’t the first time we’ve seen Canva experiencing outages for users around the globe. Today, several users have reported being unable to access the platform, encountering a “timeout error” message instead.
Canva has acknowledged the issue and confirmed that it is currently under investigation. According to the official support page, users are facing difficulties accessing Canva due to timeout errors when attempting to load the platform. The company has stated that its engineers are actively working to resolve the problem.
The status update was posted on May 26, 2025, at 16:50 AEST. According to Downdetector, users began reporting issues with Canva at around 12:08 IST. So far, 253 users have reported the error on the Downdetector website. While Canva has acknowledged the issue, there is no official update yet on when the platform will be fully restored. However, since the company is actively working on a fix, the issue may be resolved soon.
