Comet Browser is now available for Android users
Back in September 2025, Preplexity introduced its AI-powered browser, Comet, for desktop, while the pre-registration for this browser started for Android users, but there was no info on when Comet would be released for Android.
Perplexity has now redesigned the mobile web browser for the new age of the internet, and today, the Comet browser is officially made available for Android.

- Comet Assistant: With your personal AI assistant one tap away, you can ask more questions and take action on the tasks you assign it to handle. You can see exactly what actions your Comet Assistant is taking and step in at any time.
- Voice recognition technology: Perplexity has brought voice recognition technology to Comet for Android, allowing users to chat with their Comet Assistant to find information across all their open tabs.
- Summarize your searches: Smart summarization on Comet for Android gives you the ability to summarize content across all your open tabs, not just the page you have open.
- Focus on what matters: Avoid spam and pop-up ads with a built-in ad blocker. You can whitelist the sites you trust.
Comet for Android is said to have the industry’s most advanced native ad blocker built in that blocks distractions and provides a clean and clear browsing experience. The browser also remembers your open tabs and what you’re working on, so it can give quick answers that fit what you’re doing. Users can ask questions or get summaries right on any webpage. Comet helps you in research, summarizing, simplifying, shopping or learning.
You can install the Comet browser for Android via the Google Play Store.
