The AI Inbox feature will help users cut through their email clutter with smart prioritisation and daily personalised briefings.
AI Inbox is like having a personalised briefing, highlighting to-dos and catching you up on what matters. It helps users prioritise and identify their VIPs based on signals like people they email frequently, those in their contact list and relationships it can infer from message content.
Google has specified that this analysis happens securely with the privacy protections, keeping your data under your control. This lets high-stakes items like a bill due tomorrow or a dentist reminder rise to the top.
After the beta testing of this feature is completed, Google is expected to make this feature available to all users worldwide.
