YouTube currently rolling out Title and Thumbnail testing feature for creators

Previously, creators were allowed to test and compare different titles for a single video or different thumbnails for a single video so that viewers could decide which title or thumbnail suits the video better. But earlier creators could only test the title and thumbnail separately for a particular video, which was a bit hectic.

YouTuber Marques Brownlee has now revealed on the X platform that YouTube is currently rolling out Title and Thumbnail A/B testing. So that creators can test 3 different titles and thumbnails in pairs and not separately.

With this feature, creators can see which pair perfectly suits a particular video. It is revealed that the feature is likely currently available for beta early access only. This feature will be helpful for creators who feel like different thumbnails need different titles. YouTube has also announced the testing of this feature on its community page, as per which, this feature is rolling out in Studio to a small percentage of creators at first.

Just like how viewers were given the option to select the best title or thumbnail for a video previously, they will now be asked which pair of title and thumbnail suits the best for the video, and based on the votes, creators can decide which pair to choose for their particular video.

Let’s see when this feature will be officially released for all the YouTube creators.
