AutoGen and Semantic Kernel are both unified together as a commercial-grade framework.

Speaking about its capabilities, with the Microsoft Agent Framework, developers will be able to experiment locally and deploy it to Azure AI Foundry; integrate API via OpenAPI, with Agent2Agent(A2A) collaborate it across runtimes, and connect with tools using Model Context Protocol (MCP); use multi-agent patterns (such as Magnetic One); reduce context-switching; and connecting Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other agent platforms, to build multi-agent systems.
