Google – the California-based tech maker has now officially released the Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite stable version. It has been introduced as the fastest Gemini 2.5 family model yet, and it offers AI capabilities to users at the lowest cost.

Gemini 2.5 Flash-Lite Stable Version – Now Generally Available

The Gemini 2.5 Flash-Lite model has been built to offer a perfect balance between performance and cost, without making any compromises on quality, and it is notably best for carrying out latency-sensitive tasks such as classification and translation. When compared with the Gemini 2.0 Flash-Lite and the Gemini 2.0 Flash models, the Gemini 2.5 Flash-Lite model has the lowest latency. As mentioned, it can be accessed at the lowest-cost when compared to other Gemini 2.5 family models, with a price of USD 0.10 per 1M input tokens and USD 0.40 for output tokens. Additionally, the audio input cost has also been reduced by 40% from that of the preview version.

About its key features, higher quality of performance is promised in tasks like math, science, coding, reasoning, as well as in multi-modal understanding. Moreover, the access to 1 million-token context window, thinking budgets that can be controlled, and the support of tools that include Code Execution, Grounding with Google Search, and URL Context are further features.
