First-ever YouTube Recap officially introduced; Rolled out in North America, and the rest of the world will receive the feature this week

We all have seen the yearly recaps on Spotify and Jio Saavn, where users get to see the most played songs in a particular year, the most-liked songs, and artists to whom they have listened a lot in the entire year. What if you get to know that you will now get to see a YouTube Recap as well?
The YouTube Recap feature has been officially introduced, where users will get to discover the most-watched channels, top interests, and more for the year 2025.

YouTube Recap
This feature will uniquely highlight interests, deep dives, and moments you explored this year, based on your watch history. You will get a set of up to 12 different cards that spotlight your top channels, interests, and even the evolution of your viewing habits, or which personality type you fall into based on the videos you loved to watch.
If you have listened to a lot of music this year, you will also see Top Artists and Songs of the year as part of Recap, with the option to dive deeper into top genres, podcasts, and even a snapshot of your international music listening over on the YouTube Music app.
Availability
Recap will be available starting 2nd December for YouTube users in North America and will roll out to the rest of the world this week. Your Recap can be found right on the homepage, or under the “You” tab, accessible on mobile devices and desktop.
To access your YouTube Recap, tap on the You tab or go to youtube.com/recap. Make sure you are logged in to the account you use to watch.
