ChatGPT App Store Now Unveiled: OpenAI’s New App Directory Within ChatGPT on Mobile and Web

OpenAI has now officially unveiled ChatGPT App Store, moving one step closer in making ChatGPT an ‘everything app’. This is revealed to be a new app directory within the ChatGPT platform, and it can be accessed both on mobile and web.

ChatGPT App Store – Now Available

The American AI startup brand – OpenAI has now unveiled the ChatGPT App Store featuring tools that can be browsed and its SDK has also been opened for developers. Using the SDK, developers will be able to create interactive experiences within the interface of ChatGPT. Additionally, ‘connectors’ have also been renamed, and these are now being called apps. Notably, the support page has mentioned chat connectors as ‘apps with file search’, deep research connectors as ‘apps with deep research’, and synced connectors as ‘apps with sync’. Also, if the user enables the option, apps can rely on information from Memory, whereas on enabling the ‘improve the model for everyone’ option, OpenAI will be able to use app information to train its AI models.

ChatGPT apps for Zillow, Spotify, and more were already introduced two months back, and these are now accessible in more regions like Switzerland, UK, and certain other parts of Europe. The Apple Music and DoorDash apps have now been brought out as new additions.

Speaking of a few other related updates, OpenAI very recently unveiled its new ChatGPT Images version, bringing many more features. Also, the GPT-5.2 AI model was launched a few days back, with Instant, Thinking, and Pro versions.
