Apple extends Firefox support to iCloud Passwords for Windows

It was previously observed that a Firefox extension for iCloud Passwords was listed on the Mozilla Add-ons store for months, but it was not functional. Only Chrome and Microsoft Edge were fully supported via the iCloud for Windows app.
But it is now officially revealed that Apple has rolled out official support for Firefox to its iCloud for Windows app. This means autofill now works in Firefox the same way it does in other supported browsers, using the extension to pull credentials from an iCloud account when needed.
It is said that various users on the Reddit platform have pointed out that this iCloud password autofill feature appears to be only compatible with Windows 11, and not Windows 10. Do note that you will still need the iCloud for Windows app from the Microsoft Store to enable the feature and the dedicated iCloud Passwords extension for Mozilla’s browser. Apple has not rolled out a standalone password manager app for it.
With the availability of this feature, PC users can now access and autofill credentials straight from Mozilla’s web browser.
