Amazon announces a new standalone shopping app, Amazon Bazaar

Recently, Amazon introduced Amazon Haul in selected markets (the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, Australia) that offers a wide selection of products, all priced under $20, while there was also Amazon Bazaar (in Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE), where sellers can sell low-priced products at zero referral fee. Both Haul and Bazaar were available through Amazon’s shopping app and website.
Based on the positive responses from these initiatives, the company has now announced a new standalone shopping app called Amazon Bazaar that will be initially made available in 14 additional destinations, with more coming in the months ahead. The Amazon Bazaar app is now available in Hong Kong, the Philippines, Taiwan, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Nigeria.
About the Amazon Bazaar app
Shoppers can browse fashion, home goods, and lifestyle products with most items under $10. Customers can use their existing Amazon credentials or create new accounts with payment options including internationally accepted Visa, Mastercard, and American Express cards. Orders that reach the local minimum purchase amount qualify for free delivery, with a standard delivery charge for smaller orders. Customers can discover affordable products while enjoying engaging features like social lucky draws and promotions.
Most items cost under $10, with some as low as $2. New customers receive 50% off their first order, and all customers enjoy extra savings as they build their carts. Deliveries typically arrive in two weeks or less, while there is also 24/7 multilingual customer support available.
Customers will find the Amazon features they know and love, including customer reviews and star ratings. The products on the app are said to meet all applicable regulations and Amazon policies. Returns are free when requested within 15 days of receipt.
Amazon Bazaar supports 6 languages- English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, and Traditional Chinese. There is also a local currency option for consumers.
The app is available for download now on local iOS and Android app stores in the above-mentioned destinations. The app will be expanded to more places in the coming months.
