Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Chip – Launching on 26th November 2025?

As per what has been revealed, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip is said to launch next week on the 26th of November 2025, and it is also teased to offer a premium flagship performance experience too. In terms of its cores, the flagship chip will likely be featuring an architecture consisting of two 3.80 GHz-clocked cores and six 3.32 GHz-clocked cores, and just like the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, it is also said to be integrated with the same Adreno 840 GPU (earlier stated by DCS). About its performance, on the Geekbench database, the chip has already managed to acquire single-core and multi-core performance scores of around 3,000 points and 10,000 points respectively, and these are in par with that of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

Speaking more, it was previously tipped that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5-powered smartphones will be arriving in the month of November 2025 (for India in December 2025), and OnePlus, iQOO or Vivo, Honor, Motorola, and Xiaomi were all reported to bring out smartphones. The OnePlus Ace 6T which will be debuting this month in China is pointed out to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, as well as the Vivo S50 and the next Redmi Turbo device. Moreover, the Vivo S50 is believed to hit global markets re-branded as the Vivo X300 FE, while the upcoming Redmi Turbo device is expected to arrive re-branded as the standard POCO F8, and both of these are also probably going to feature it (via @yabhishekhd).
