Xbox Mobile App Updates

A dedicated Store tab is added to the mobile app so that users can purchase games, add-ons, and join Game Pass with a click of a button. Some new features have also been added to make browsing easier- add games to your Wishlist and search for add-ons directly in the app.

Bluetooth LE Audio support

The company has shared a new firmware update for the latest Xbox Wireless Headset that adds Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) Audio support. This update, built in partnership with Windows, brings top-tier audio performance to the latest Windows devices.

With this update, you will get lower latency, better battery life, super wideband stereo voice, and broadcast audio. The firmware update is available now via the Xbox Accessories app on your console or Windows 11 device.

Bluetooth LE Audio requires a Windows 11 device that supports Bluetooth LE Audio. Super wideband stereo audio requires the latest updates to Windows 11, version 24H2 or later, and audio driver support from your PC manufacturer. The Super wideband stereo audio will be coming soon to ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X. The Shared audio (preview) is currently available to Windows Insiders on select Windows 11 PCs.

In case you missed it, the company has also introduced the Xbox Wireless Controller- Fallout Pip Boy and the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2- Fallout Pip Boy, available exclusively with Xbox Design Lab. Suit up with a customised design inspired by the iconic Pip-boy, while you can customise nearly every component (swap parts, choose your colours, and add an engraving for that personal touch).
