Sony announces 60+ minutes State of Play broadcast on 12th February, 2026

Sony is back with its next State of Play date announcement. The company has officially announced that the State of Play will air on 12th February at 2:00 PM PT/ 5:00 PM ET/ 11:00 PM CET.

The broadcast will stream on YouTube and Twitch, and it will be in English with Japanese subtitles also available. The company has revealed that this broadcast will be 60+ minutes long and will include news, gameplay updates, and announcements from game studios across the globe.

According to the official PlayStation blog, the upcoming State of Play will spotlight eye-catching third-party and indie games headed to PS5, along with the latest from the teams at PlayStation Studios.

Regarding co-streaming and Video-on-Demand (VOD), the company has mentioned that this broadcast may include copyrighted content (e.g. licensed music) that PlayStation does not control. So if you are planning to save this broadcast as a VOD to create recaps or to repost clips or segments from the show, it is advised to omit any copyrighted music.

It is anticipated that fans may get to hear some highly-anticipated announcements like Marvel’s Wolverine, Bungie’s Marathon, Saros, PSVR2 support expansions, new trailers, and release dates. Though we do need to wait for the broadcast to go live to know exactly what Sony has planned for its fans.
