Real Racing 3 Server Shutdown Extended by One Day, New Closure Date Set for March 20, 2026

Back in December 2025, EA officially announced that its long-running mobile racing game Real Racing 3 would be sunset after nearly twelve years of service. The announcement confirmed that the title would be removed from app stores, in-app purchases would be disabled, and the game would eventually go fully offline in early 2026.

Shutdown Date Moved to March 20, 2026

Via the official Real Racing 3 X (formerly Twitter) account, it is now confirmed that the game’s server shutdown has been delayed by one day due to technical issues experienced by players on December 30th, 2025.

The post reads: “Hey Racers, In light of the login issues on December 30, 2025, we are moving the game’s shutdown by one day. The new shutdown date is March 20, 2026.
Please enjoy the additional day of racing and make the most out of your final laps. Thanks for being an amazing part of our community!”

Originally, the servers were set to go offline on March 19, 2026, but the new confirmed date is now March 20, 2026.

As part of the earlier shutdown plan, Real Racing 3 was delisted from the App Store and Google Play on December 18, 2025, meaning new users can no longer download the game. On the same day, EA also disabled all in-app purchases, preventing players from buying real-money packs or additional content.
