PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Update 39.1 Officially Announced: Rolling Out Tomorrow for PC Users

The latest Update 39.1 has been announced for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, and it will be rolled out for PC users tomorrow, while console users are scheduled to get it next week. A climate shift to the Erangel area, Gunplay updates, and more are part of the update highlights.

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS – Update 39.1 Announced
About the Update 39.1 highlights, in Erangel Subzero, parts of this place have been frozen and are covered in snow as a result of mysterious satellite crashes. Players will also be able to find the crashed satellites across the place, and a few of them will consist of valuable loots. The freezing effect is also now there on Blue Zone, and it can additionally be triggered with the help of BZ Grenades and the newly-unveiled BZ Grenade Launcher. Also to note, with the latest update, Ferries and Red Zone will be disabled temporarily.
Regarding the Gunplay and other updates, the SKS, SLR, and M416 have received reduced recoil buff. For AUG and VSS, the recoil has been nerfed, and the VSS firing sound has been increased. The care packages for TDM have also been updated, and the recall system has been added to the IBR. Moreover, the UGC Alpha has been brought back, along with some new content. Also, the limit of Casual Mode has been changed to 60 minutes per day, from the previous 3 matches.
Furthermore, the Survivor Pass rewards have been adjusted for the latest Update 39.1, with 50% BP boost newly added as the Premium Pass reward, as well as Contraband Coupons and certain other key rewards. Hideout updates are also there.
In terms of roll-out, as indicated above, it will reach PC users tomorrow on the 3rd of December 2025 (00:00 ~ 08:30). Next week on the 11th of December 2025 (01:00 ~ 09:00), console users will also be getting it.
