The new UGC Alpha update that has now been announced for the PUBG: Battlegrounds game will be rolling out this month and it will be bringing a lot more capabilities to this widely played game. However, do note that the features which will be unveiled soon are only for PC devices.

PUBG: Battlegrounds – UGC Alpha Update Coming on 13th August 2025
This month on the 13th of August 2025, new UGC Alpha features will be brought to the battle royale game as part of a new update. As mentioned, the update is only going to be made available on PC devices. On the X post shared, it has been revealed that following the update, users will be receiving the capability to build their own battleground, set rules as per their liking, and also invite their friends to play along. With the new sample modes, Plus players will be able to create sessions using the UGC Alpha features.
A teaser video has also been shared via the PUBG: Battlegrounds X handle, revealing the capabilities that can be enjoyed with the UGC Alpha features. Custom maps can be built by users with all the needed elements and tasks, and users themselves will be able to set how they would like to play it forward. By inviting friends, they can also hold challenges and battle together as pointed out above.
On PC devices, the PUBG: Battlegrounds video game can be played absolutely free of cost via Epic Store, Xbox, Sony PlayStation 4, and Steam gaming platforms.
