Battlefield 6 key updates revealed during multiplayer reveal event; Three free open betas to start soon
The wait for the gamers has finally been over! Recently, EA has revealed some major details about its much-awaited Battlefield 6 game that include release date, open beta dates, and some of the key features about the game.

Battlefield 6: Release date, open beta, and key features revealed
Battlefield 6 is officially confirmed to be released on 10th October. Before that, there will be three free open beta windows. The first will take place between August 7 and August 8, and is for Battlefield members and those who earn access by watching those streamers. Weekend 1 of completely open access will then take place on August 9 and 10, and Weekend 2 of completely open beta access will take place between August 14 and August 17.
The reveal event also provided some details about this game. Battlefield 6 takes place in 2027, and players will be fighting in locations like Cairo, Gibraltar, and Brooklyn. There will total of nine maps at launch-
- Liberation peak
- Empire State
- New Sobek city
- Manhattan Bridge
- Iberian offensive
- Mirak Valley
- Siege of Cairo
- Saints Quarter
- Operation Firestorm
The following modes were also confirmed for multiplayer-
- Conquest
- Breakthrough
- Rush
- Escalation
- Team Deathmatch
- Squad Deathmatch
- Domination
- King of the Hill
It is also revealed by Battlefield Studios that more modes and maps will come to the game via post-launch updates. Battlefields Portal mode has also been expanded, so players have more control over the creation of custom game modes. Apart from these modes and maps, players will also be choose from the Assault, Recon, Engineer, and Support classes. These come with class-unique weapons, gadgets, and traits.
There will be a Phantom Edition for Battlefield 6 that comes with Phantom Squad: 4 soldier skins, BF Pro taken, shrouded weapon package, drop shadow weapon package, chimera vehicle skin, and more. It is available for pre-orders, and as part of the pre-order bonus, players will get the Tombstone pack.
Players can access he open beta of Battlefield 6 via PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store, or EA app)
