Xiaomi 45W Mini-GaN Charger sale starts tomorrow in India; Key details officially revealed

The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has today officially introduced its Xiaomi 45W Mini-GaN Charger in the Indian market.

The charger is listed for Rs 1,999 on Xiaomi India’s website, and the sale for this charger will start tomorrow in the country.
Xiaomi 45W Mini-GaN Charger (MDY-20-EA): Features
The charger comes with GaN (Gallium Nitride) technology, which has high thermal conductivity and resistance to high temperatures, acids, and alkalis. Due to this technology, the charger holds advantages in power conversion when compared to non-GaN chargers with the same power.
It supports 45W high-power fast charging with QC3.0, PD3.0, and PPS. The charger boasts a design that is up to 50% smaller and a USB-C port. The built-in Intelligent Recognition chip makes it compatible with Apple and Samsung smartphones, tablets, and other accessories as well.

With 30 minutes of charging, Xiaomi 14 can be charged up to 74%, Redmi Note 14 can be charged up to 67%, Redmi Note 14 Pro can be charged up to 60%, iPhone 16 can be charged up to 58%, iPhone 17 can be charged up to 73% and iPhone 17 Pro can be charged up to 65%.
It comes with various safety features- overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, over temperature protection, abnormal path impedance protection, short circuit protection, under voltage protection, electrostatic protection, electromagnetic field protection, lightning strike protection, and data cable encryption protection.
The Type-C cable is included in the box. It measures 40.5x34x40mm and weighs 57+2.5g.
