Vivo Vision – Experience Center Now Open in China Ahead of Launch

As mentioned, the Experience Center for the Vivo Vision MR headset is now open (in China), and selected candidates are being offered a chance to use and experience it before it gets launched and made available in the market. Among the images now shared online, we can spot Zhu Guangquan (CCTV host) trying out Vivo’s Vision headset. Notably, the shared images also reveal that the tagline – ‘Easy to get in the hand’ has been used to tease the upcoming device, and the ‘Exploration Edition’ branding can be spotted on it. By presenting it at the Boao Forum event, Vivo has already revealed its design, and the final product also appears to retain the same design and is more or less similar when compared to Apple’s Vision Pro with multiple front cameras and an external battery pack.

After personally testing and experiencing the Vivo Vision headset, Han Boxiao (Vivo Product Manager) shared his three key impressions concerning the device. The Vivo Vision headset is claimed to be exceptionally light and it is comparable to wearing the Apple AirPods Max headphones, and Han Boxiao terms its comfort as ‘addictive’. About the design, it is pointed out to be elegant, minimalist, as well as detailed, providing it with a flagship-grade outlook. Finally, he notes that the mixed reality experience offered on Vivo’s Vision headset is mesmerizing and it has left him ‘impressed’.

Looking into previous updates, the Vivo Vision was expected to have its launch in the mid-half of 2025, however it is already August 2025 and the brand is still yet to officially launch it for its customers. From what it seems, the launch could be near and the opening of the experience center further suggests it.

Stay tuned for more updates.
