Xiaomi to make a major announcement on 12th February in India, amid Xiaomi’s Smart TV launch 8th Anniversary
On 14 February 2018, Xiaomi entered the Indian TV industry with the launch of its first Smart TV- Xiaomi Mi TV 4, and now the company is celebrating the 8th Anniversary of its Smart TV launch in India.
Highlighting its achievements in the past 8 years, Xiaomi mentioned that in 2019, the company sold 20 lakh Smart TVs in just 14 months, in 2020, the company expanded local manufacturing in India, in 2022, Xiaomi X-series was introduced, and in 2025, the company expanded the X Pro QLED portfolio in India.
To celebrate these achievements and its Smart TV’s 8th anniversary, the company will be making a major announcement on 12th February, 2026.

Well, nothing specific has been revealed as to what the upcoming announcement is related to, but it is expected that Xiaomi might unveil new TV models or innovations in display technology on the mentioned date.

Xiaomi has already confirmed to launch the Xiaomi 17 series soon in the global market, and ahead of this upcoming global launch, the rear and front live images of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra global variant have leaked online, while the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra standard variant specs were also revealed. Apart from the Xiaomi 17 Ultra standard variant, there is also a Leica variant that is said to make its debut.
