The American EV maker – Tesla has now officially introduced its new Wall Connector charger with a MID-certified meter in the Netherlands. It is currently available for purchase in the country and will allow employers to record as well as reimburse home charging costs.

Tesla’s New Wall Connector Charger With MID-Certified Meter – Now Available in Netherlands

The new Wall Connector charger that has now been introduced in Netherlands as mentioned comes with a MID-certified meter, and it is revealed to be a more convenient charging solution for Tesla and other EV vehicles. It is notably light in weight, and also enables users to install it both indoors and outdoors. To add, it has also been designed for use at homes, apartments, restaurants, as well as at offices, and it can be connected to various types of electrical systems.

Speaking more about its features, compatibility with any Type 2 charging port, planning/managing/tracking via Tesla app, automatic adjustment based on current energy usage, WiFi connectivity support (for wireless firmware updates), up to 71 km range in an hour, up to 22 kW on three-phase electricity grid, and 7.3 meter long cable are offered. Users will easily be able to connect it to a single-phase or three-phase electricity network, and the device is MID compliant. Also, as noted above, the MID-certified meter will enable employers to record and reimburse home charging costs.

Regarding its pricing and availability details, it is available in the Netherlands for EUR 570, and users will need a qualified electrician for the installation and setup process.
