Xiaomi Watch 5 and Xiaomi Buds 6 Officially Unveiled in China: Official Sale Now Live
Today at its launch conference, the Chinese consumer electronics maker – Xiaomi officially unveiled the Xiaomi Watch 5 smartwatch and Xiaomi Buds 6 earbuds in its home market. Both of them are now available for purchase in the country.

Xiaomi Watch 5
Xiaomi’s Watch 5 smartwatch is powered by the Snapdragon W5 wearable processor, and it equips the industry’s first EMG electromyography sensor to offer enhanced health features. A professional ECG electrocardiogram analysis sensor is also a part of the device, and it additionally comes with eSIM support for independent network connectivity. Double-sided sapphire glass and a stainless steel unibody case are also revealed to be its key specs.
Independent calling and text messaging functionality, independent WeChat, Alipay, and online music streaming, as well as an independent app store with 70+ apps are also a part of the device. Gesture-controlled wrist control center, 1.54″ AMOLED display, gym training (80+ lessons and 3D animation), light and durable form factor, and a 6-day battery life mode are its other features.
The Xiaomi Watch 5 normal version and eSIM version are respectively priced at CNY 1999 and CNY 2299. Black and Khaki Green straps are available for the normal version, and the straps are made out of fluororubber. Its eSIM version, has genuine leather straps options, and comes in Soft Blue and Gold Brown colors. Also, titanium 3D-printed straps priced at CNY 799 can be purchased by customers, and it is offered in Titanium Black and Titanium Silver color choices. The sale of this latest smartwatch is now live, and it can be purchased via all channels in China.
Xiaomi Buds 6
About the Xiaomi Buds 6 earbuds, it features a semi-in-ear design, along with biomimetic curves (12% narrower earpiece joint, 11.3% thinner sound outlet, 9.9% increased contact area). It equips Xiaomi’s own customized three-magnet gold-plated audio unit (consisting of a three-magnet driver + 24K gold-plated diaphragm), and supports Harman-tuning, Snapdragon Sound, Hi-Res wireless audio, CD-level lossless audio, 3-mic AI noise cancellation, spatial audio, intelligent recording, translation, AI-based summarization, Xiaomi Smart Search. The device will offer up to 6 hours of battery life on a single charge, which can be expanded to 35 hours with the charging case.
Pearl White, Moon Shadow Black, Titanium Light Gold, and Nebula Purple are its available color choices, and Chinese customers can get the device at CNY 699 via all channels. Its official sale is also now live.
