Huawei Watch GT 6 Series and Watch Ultimate 2 Officially Unveiled in the Global Market: Watch GT 6 and Watch GT 6 Pro Models Already on Sale

Three new smartwatch models have now been introduced by Huawei for its global audience. These include the Huawei Watch GT 6 series and the Huawei Watch Ulimate 2 smartwatches, and the former is already put up for sale.

Huawei Watch GT 6 and Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro

The Huawei Watch GT 6 series consists of two new smartwatches – the Huawei Watch GT 6 and the Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro, and notably these latest smartwatch models combines stylish design, improved durability, longer battery life, and added health features. To note, only a 46mm size variant is offered for the Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro, whereas the standard Huawei Watch GT 6 has 41mm and 46mm size variants. Both the Huawei Watch GT 6 (46mm) and the Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro feature an octagonal-shaped form factor design, while Huawei’s Watch GT 6 (41mm) has a round form factor. All of these feature circular displays irrespective for their shape, and these are high resolution supported AMOLED display panels measuring 1.32″/1.47″ in size. Additionally, the Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro supports up to 3000 nits of brightness, equips a sapphire crystal glass, and also features an aerospace-grade titanium alloy case.

Regarding the health and fitness features, trackers for ECG, sleep, heart rate, SpO2, and more are given. A virtual cycling feature and related metrics have also been added this time. About the battery specs, thanks to the silicon batteries, the 46mm models will be able to offer up to 12 days of battery life and relying on the power saving mode, it can be expanded to up to 21 days. The Huawei Watch GT 6 41mm variant on the other hand is capable of delivering a battery life of up to 7 days (a week). Also, with the power saving mode enabled, it can again be expanded to up to 14 days (two weeks).

Speaking of the pricing and availability details, the sale is now live in global markets at a starting price of EUR 259/GBP 229.99 for the standard model, and EUR 379/GBP 329.99 for the pro model. An added discount coupon and free straps (limited time) are also being offered.

Huawei Watch Ultimate 2

Coming to the Huawei Watch Ultimate 2, this device also has an octagonal but skeletonized form factor design, featuring a circular display with ceramic bezels. The display is a 1.5″ LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display screen that supports 466 x 466 pixels resolution and about 3500 nits peak brightness rate. In terms of its wrist size, it can be worn on hands with 140 ~ 210mm size, and the device only weighs 80.5 gm.

Notably, the Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 has been released as the very first smartwatch in the world to offer 150-meter diving capability, and it supports Sonar-based underwater communication, on-land audio features in water, X-Tap technology, eSIM calls, and navigation with Pro-level Expedition Mode and Sunflower Positioning System. Additionally, an intuitive data display is also supported that ensures visibility in water-like depth, speed, time, PO2, NDL, and more.

A few other features such as the outdoor care for fall detection, smart gestures, third-party action camera, gallery, payment options, golf course mode, zoomable course maps, and ball trajectory sharing are all supported on this device as well. Up to 4.5 days of battery life can be expected on the device when paired with Android (for iOS it is 3.5 days), and by turning on the power saver mode, it can be expanded to up to 11 days for light use/up to 6 days for typical use/up to 4 days with AOD enabled.

Unlike the Watch GT 6 series, Huawei has not yet announced the price nor sale date for its Watch Ultimate 2. However, its sale is supposed to begin next month in October 2025 and it can now be subscribed via official sale channels. Added discounts and coupon offers are also provided along with it.
