Redmi Pad 2 Pro Series Introduced Globally, Featuring Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 Chip and 12.1″ Display: Redmi Pad 2 Pro, Redmi Pad 2 Pro Matte Glass Version, and Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G Unveiled
At its recent global launch event, Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Pad 2 Pro series and three tablet models were unveiled under it: Redmi Pad 2 Pro, Redmi Pad 2 Pro Matte Glass Version, and Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G. These ultimate large display Redmi tablets are claimed to offer pro-level entertainment for its users.

Redmi Pad 2 Pro Series – Introduced in the Global Market
The latest Redmi Pad 2 Pro series features a 12.1″ 2.5K display screen, and it supports Dolby Vision, up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and DC dimming. Additionally, the TUV Rheinland authority has certified it for Hardware-Level Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free, and Circadian Friendly Viewing as well. Furthermore, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro Matte Glass Version has an upgraded AG nano-texture screen too, which will offer up to 97% glare and reflection reduction. Also, a paper-like surface has been given on it, making it ideal for taking notes, sketching, and reading. The quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio, and up to 300% manual volume boost are also added specs to ensure an immersive entertainment experience.
On the performance side, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro series makes use of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, and to provide a longer usage time, it packs a 12000 mAh large battery backup. 33W wired + 27W reverse wired charging features are also supported on these latest Redmi products. Xiaomi HyperOS-powered Xiaomi inter-connectivity, Call sync, Shared clipboard, Network sync, and Home screen+ are added features, along with cross-device cameras, Google Gemini, Circle to Search, and 2TB expandable storage support.
Other key specs include 8MP front/8MP(13MP for Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G* ) rear cameras, LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, 5G + eSIM (for Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G*), WiFi 6, Bluetooth v5.4, metal unibody design, 7.5mm thickness, and 600 ~ 610gm weight. Accessories such as the Redmi Smart Pen, Redmi Pad 2 Pro Keyboard (with built-in stylus loop), and Redmi Pad 2 Pro Cover are also available with the Redmi Pad 2 Pro series.
Regarding the pricing and availability details, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro model will come in three color choices (Graphite Gray, Silver, Lavender Purple) and two storage options (6GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB) with a starting price of EUR 299.9. The Redmi Pad 2 Pro Matte Glass Version is priced at EUR 379.9, and will be made available in Graphite Gray color and 8GB/256GB storage option. Two color variants of Graphite Gray and Silver will be offered for the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G, and it will have 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB storage variants. The 5G model will carry a starting price tag of EUR 379.9.
