Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G Announced to Launch on 6th January 2026 in India: Amazon Landing Page Teases 12,000mAh Battery
Just recently, the Indian variant of the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G tablet was spotted on the Geekbench database, confirming that it will be using the same chipset that was there on its global counterpart. Now, the official India launch date for the latest tablet device has been announced, and its Amazon landing page has confirmed its battery capacity as well.

Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G – Launching on 6th January 2026 in India
As expected, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G tablet will be officially unveiled for Indian customers on the 6th of January 2026, on the same day the India launch of the Redmi Note 15 5G smartphone has also been scheduled, and the latest tablet device has been teased with the tagline – ‘Everything Pro, On-the-Go’. Also, as per its Amazon landing page, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G Indian variant will be backed by a 12,000mAh large battery too, and it is claimed to be the ‘world’s largest battery’.
Furthermore, two days of battery life can be expected on the device as per what has been teased. Over the next five days, more spec-reveals have been scheduled by the brand, and details pertaining to the display, connectivity, speakers, durability, and design are going to be teased.
The teaser poster reveals the stylus and keyboard supports, and already performance specs like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, Android 15 OS, and 8GB RAM option have been confirmed via Geekbench. In addition to its Amazon availability which has been suggested via its landing, Indian customers will also be able to get this latest device on the Flipkart shopping platform too, and the dedicated Flipkart landing page is now live.
