Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) AI Glasses were launched last month in December 2025, in India, and were initially available only through offline channels, including Ray-Ban India stores and leading optical and eyewear retailers, with prices starting at ₹39,900. Now, the company is set to expand availability to online platforms, as the official microsite for the Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) AI Glasses has gone live on Amazon India, indicating an imminent online launch.

Since the product has already launched, the specifications and features remain unchanged.

The smart glasses offer advanced camera and capture capabilities, including 3K Ultra HD video recording and Ultrawide HDR for more detailed and balanced visuals. Through a future software update, users will also gain access to Hyperlapse and Slow Motion video modes.

Battery performance is another highlight, delivering up to 8 hours of usage on a single charge. The device supports fast charging, offering 50% battery in just 20 minutes, while the charging case extends total usage by up to 48 additional hours.

In terms of design, the glasses are available in multiple styles, including Wayfarer, Skyler, and Headliner, along with new seasonal colour options such as Shiny Cosmic Blue, Shiny Mystic Violet, and Shiny Asteroid Grey.

On the smart features side, the glasses integrate a built-in Meta AI assistant, activated using the “Hey Meta” voice command. Users can ask questions, get recommendations, generate creative prompts, capture photos and videos, control media playback, and reply to messages hands-free.

Audio and communication are enhanced with Conversation Focus, which improves voice pickup in noisy environments. The glasses also support the Hindi language, along with Meta AI Voices, including celebrity voice options such as Deepika Padukone.

Additionally, Meta is currently testing built-in payments functionality, which supports UPI Lite QR payments via voice commands such as “Hey Meta, scan and pay”. Transactions are processed through the user’s WhatsApp-linked bank account.

At the moment, the Amazon microsite does not reveal pricing or the official sale date. However, now that the page is live, more details are expected to be announced in the coming days.
