OPPO Pad 5 Tablet Could be Launching Alongside the Reno 15 Series Smartphones in India, Hints Official Website: Certain Key Specs Also Pointed Out
The latest OPPO Reno 15 series is already announced to have its launch soon in the Indian market, and its availability via Amazon and Flipkart has been confirmed. Three smartphone models are revealed to launch under the series for Indian customers, and these will include the OPPO Reno 15 5G, OPPO Reno 15 Pro 5G, and the OPPO Reno 15 Pro Mini 5G. Via the brand’s official website for India, an INR 99 Privilege Pack has been announced, and among the prizes, the OPPO Pad 5 tablet has been listed, suggesting its arrival to the country alongside OPPO’s Reno 15 series smartphones.

OPPO Pad 5 – Also Coming Soon to India?
The OPPO Pad 5 tablet made its debut in China two months back (in October 2025), however the Indian/global variant is revealed to be different from its Chinese counterpart. From what it seems, it appears to be a re-branded version of the OPPO Pad Air 5 tablet that is set to launch tomorrow (on the 25th of December 2025) in the Chinese market. Notably, the OPPO Pad Air 5 itself is also a re-branded version of the OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet which was unveiled this month (in December 2025), both globally and in India.
Speaking more, as per the OPPO India website listings, the 8GB/128GB WiFi-only model has been revealed for the OPPO Pad 5 tablet, and it will be featuring a 12.1″ eye-comfort display that supports 2.8K screen resolution. A Black color choice and stylus support have also been revealed.
In related news, an X tipster had earlier tipped a few other key specs of the OPPO Pad 5 India/global variant, but it should be noted that a few of these specs does not align with that of the OnePlus Pad Go 2, which is expected to get re-branded as the OPPO Pad Air 5 for China, and later believed to hit other markets as the OPPO Pad 5 Indian/global variant. MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Ultra chip, 8MP front + 8MP rear cameras, 10,050mAh battery, 33W wired + reverse wired charging, and WiFi 6 connectivity are a few key specs of the OnePlus Pad Go 2 (while the tipster mentioned Dimensity 7300 chip, 8MP front + 8MP rear cameras, 10,000mAh battery, 45W wired charging, and WiFi 6E connectivity for the OPPO Pad 5 India/global variant).
Even though OPPO India has still not yet announced the launch of the OPPO Pad 5 tablet in the country, as mentioned above, the official website listings suggest that it is also coming to the Indian market, and the launch may possibly take place alongside the OPPO Reno 15 series smartphones.
