OnePlus had already confirmed that the OnePlus Pad 3 would launch in India in September. Just a day ago, we reported that microsites for the tablet had gone live on both Flipkart and Amazon India, though the exact open sale date was not mentioned in the posters.
Now, a poster on Flipkart confirms that open sales will begin on September 5 at 12 PM IST. However, on Amazon India and the official OnePlus India website, the status still shows as “coming soon.” While the sale date is now clear, OnePlus is yet to announce pricing, which will likely be revealed on the day of the launch itself.
Since the OnePlus Pad 3 has already been launched globally, its specifications and features are known.
The OnePlus Pad 3 comes with a slim all-metal unibody design, measuring just 5.97mm in thickness. It runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, and on benchmarks, it has scored 2,947,633 on AnTuTu.
The tablet is backed by a 12,140mAh battery, which the company says can deliver up to 18 hours of video playback or around 6 hours of AAA gaming. It supports 80W fast charging.
On the display side, the Pad 3 features a 3.4K panel with 315 PPI, a 144Hz refresh rate, 12-bit colour depth, Dolby Vision HDR certification, and up to 900 nits peak brightness. The screen covers the full DCI-P3 colour gamut. For audio, there are eight speakers on board—four bass units and four tweeters—with Hi-Res Audio and LHDC support.
AI tools are integrated, including AI Translation, AI Summary, AI Writer, and AI Speak. The tablet also comes with Google Gemini built-in, and a dedicated AI button for quick access. Circle to Search is supported as well. Connectivity options include syncing with OnePlus smartphones for video and image sharing, clipboard and notification sync, and app relay. It can also connect remotely to a Mac, allowing drag-and-drop file transfers, gesture controls, and a privacy mode.
The Amazon microsite also confirms that the OnePlus Stylo 2, OnePlus Smart Keyboard, and OnePlus Folio Case will be sold separately as official accessories.
