New Samsung Odyssey Gaming Monitor Lineup Unveiled: Features the World’s First 6K 3D and Ultra High Resolution Displays

Samsung Electronics has now unveiled its newest Odyssey Gaming Monitor lineup, consisting of the brand’s most advanced models yet. Five new gaming monitors have been introduced, focusing on aspects like resolution, performance, and refresh rates.

Samsung Odyssey 3D
Samsung’s Odyssey 3D (G90XH) has been introduced as the world’s first 6K glasses-free 3D gaming monitor, and it offers a 32″ viewing area. The device equips real-time eye tracking technology, and supports specs like 6K resolution, 165Hz refresh rate which can be boosted to 330Hz with Dual Mode, and 1ms GtG response time. Additionally, optimized 3D effects co-developed with game studios is also among its notable specs and thanks to which, gamers can immerse in an enhanced gaming experience on titles like The First Berserker: Khazan, Lies of P: Overture, and Stellar Blade.
Samsung Odyssey G6
About the Samsung Odyssey G6 (G60H), it has been teased as the world’s first 1,040Hz refresh rate supported gaming monitor, and it has a screen size of 27″. The 1,040Hz high refresh rate can be accessed by users with the Dual Mode, while the native QHD supports up to 600Hz. E-sports level motion clarity, HDR10+ gaming, AMD FreeSync Premium, and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible support are also its key features.
Samsung Odyssey G8 (6K, 5K, OLED)
Speaking of the Odyssey G8 gaming monitor from Samsung, it comes in three different resolutions of 6K, 5K, and OLED. The 32″ Odyssey G8 model (G80HS) is the top-end variant, and it brings 6K resolution, 165Hz native refresh rate, and up to 330Hz refresh rate at 3K resolution. 5K resolution, 180Hz native refresh rate, and up to 360Hz refresh rate at QHD resolution are offered on the 27″ Odyssey G8 gaming monitor (G80HF).
Finally, for the OLED 32″ Odyssey G8 model (G80SH), features like 4K QD-OLED glare-free panel, 240Hz refresh rate, glare-free viewing, 300-nits brightness, DisplayPort 2.1, and up to 80Gbps bandwidth are being offered. It is also VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500-certified. Additionally, HDR10+ gaming, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible are supported on all the Samsung Odyssey G8 models.
