Yesterday, Xiaomi finally introduced its Xiaomi 17 series in China, and in the same launch event, the company also introduced its latest Xiaomi Pad 8 series, which includes Xiaomi Pad 8 and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro models.
Xiaomi Pad 8 series: Features
Both tablets feature an 11.2-inch display that offers 3.2K screen resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 345 ppi screen density, 800 nits peak brightness, full DC dimming, and come with TUV Rheinland triple eye protection certification. The Soft Light Edition uses AG nano-texture+ AR coating to reduce reflectivity by 70%. They run on Xiaomi HyperOS 3and offer PC-level multitasking, PC-level browser, and PC-level professional applications (WPS, CAD, CAJ). They arrive with a 5.75mm thickness and weigh 485g. The tablets are compatible with accessories like the Focus Touch Pen Pro and Floating Keyboard.
They include four speakers and mics and support AI features. The quad speakers come with Dolby Atmos support. They arrive with support for WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, while they feature a USB Type-C port and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Both are backed by a 9200 mAh battery.
Xiaomi Pad 8 is powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, while the Pro model is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. Xiaomi Pad 8 supports 45W fast charging, and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro is equipped with 67W fast charging. The Pro model also comes with Harman AudioEFX tuning.
