The latest Xiaomi 17 Ultra smartphone is debuting tomorrow in the Chinese market and after recently teasing the design aspects, color choices, and camera specs, the brand has dropped more new teaser updates concerning the upcoming iterative camera flagship. Via these new teasers, the packaging box and a new camera mode of the smartphone have been revealed.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra – Packaging Box and Red Carpet Camera Mode Officially Teased
As per the details shared, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra smartphone is mentioned to be a masterpiece that is a product of Leica’s century-long imaging inspiration, and it is considered as an ultimate pursuit of professional photography. The large packaging box of the device has a Black color tone, and both the Xiaomi and Leica logos have been added at the front. On the side, ‘Xiaomi 17 Ultra by Leica’ branding can also be spotted.
In addition to the packaging box, the brand has also revealed a new ‘Red Carpet Camera’ mode too for the flagship device. Notably, the Leica 200MP optical zoom camera is said to offer a fresh perspective to the highlights of life, while the smartphone’s 4K ultra-high-definition camera movement effect will seamlessly integrate both zoom and slow motion.
The official debut of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra smartphone has been scheduled in China, and it will be conducted tomorrow on the 25th of December 2025. Three color variants have been confirmed for the device, and Chinese customers will be able to get it in Black, White, and Starry Green colors. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip could be powering the device, and it is said to run on the Android 16-based Xiaomi HyperOS 3 custom skin. A large-angle 2D flat screen, Leica 1-inch light and shadow master camera sensor, Leica teleconvertor camera kit, 6000mAh ~ 7000mAh battery range, 100W wired fast charging, and 8.29mm slim body are its other revealed/expected specs.
