Lu Weibing’s Live Stream for Revealing New Products – Taking Place Today in China
Today, on the 20th of December 2025, in China, Xiaomi’s Partner and President – Lu Weibing will be conducting a live stream, via which the details concerning the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Ultra are said to be shared. Additionally, during the same live stream, Lu Weibing also plans to drop updates about the brand’s other new products – about its new smart home appliances.
Prior to today’s live stream, a few Xiaomi 17 Ultra details have already been shared online and as per which, this upcoming device is pointed out to sport a smaller circular rear camera module this time, and unlike its predecessor, the volume buttons will be two rounded keys (reminiscent of the older Apple iPhone 4). Furthermore, the device is also suggested to be both lighter and thinner, along with improved battery and camera specs. In the image shared, we can also spot the upcoming device featured in a sparkling Green color too, and it more or less aligns with the earlier leaked design renders and spy shots.
Speaking more, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Xiaomi Buds 6, and Xiaomi Watch are announced to debut next week in the Chinese market, and the expected launch date is tipped to be on the 25th of December 2025. The IMDA certification listing of the device was also spotted recently, revealing Bluetooth, WiFi, and NFC connectivity. Its other expected specs include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, 50MP (main, OmniVision OV50X 1-inch sensor) + 200MP (periscope telephoto, Samsung ISOCELL HP5) + 50MP (ultra-wide) triple rear cameras, 6,000mAh ~ 7,000mAh battery range, 100W wired fast charging (as per 3C), 77.6mm width, 8.0mm thickness, 14-channel multi-spectral sensor, and Leica tele-convertor camera kit (in Black, White, Green, and Purple colors).
