After making its debut in the Chinese and global markets, the Xiaomi 17 Series has finally made its debut in the Indian market.

Unlike the global market, Xiaomi didn’t launch the Leica by Leitzphone in the Indian market, and only the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra have been introduced. Talking about the specs, both smartphones are powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, paired with HyperOS 3 based on Android 16, LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, and UFS 4.1 internal storage. Other than this, both smartphones offer different specs, which I have detailed below.

Pricing and Availability
The Xiaomi 17 smartphone has been launched in two memory options: 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB, with the former priced at ₹89,999 and the latter at ₹99,999. There is also an early bird offer from March 13th to March 17th, during which the 512GB variant is being offered at the price of the 256GB variant. Along with this, Xiaomi is also offering a free phone damage protection plan worth ₹9,999.
Next is the Xiaomi 17 Ultra (not to be confused with the Leica edition). It has been launched in a single 16GB/512GB memory option and is priced at ₹1,39,999. During the early bird offer, you can get the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Photography Kit Pro worth ₹19,999 for free with this smartphone. Xiaomi is also offering an additional ₹10,000 discount if you use an SBI bank credit or debit card.
Other offers include four months of Spotify Premium Standard, three months of YouTube Premium, and three months of Google AI Pro. The package also includes Jio benefits valued at ₹16,000. Both smartphones will go on sale in India via mi.com, Amazon.in, and Xiaomi retail outlets starting March 18th.
