Xiaomi 17 Series Launch in India Officially Confirmed: Xiaomi India CMO Showcases the Standard Model at the Ongoing Snapdragon Summit
Just recently, the Xiaomi 17 series made its debut in the Chinese market and a day later, its arrival for Indian customers has also been confirmed. The standard model of the latest flagship series was also showcased at the ongoing Snapdragon Summit event too.

Xiaomi 17 Series – India Launch Confirmed
The update concerning the arrival of the Xiaomi 17 series has been shared via Sandeep Sharma (Associate Director of Xiaomi India) on X, and he has posted an image of Anuj Sharma (CMO of Xiaomi India) showcasing the standard Xiaomi 17 smartphone at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit of this year. As the Xiaomi 17 series has been teased, Indian customers can expect more than just the Xiaomi 17 smartphone.
[It can be assumed that both the Xiaomi 17 Pro series or at least one of them may be introduced alongside the standard model, or if the brand plans to adopt last year’s strategy, Indian customers could be getting the upcoming ‘Xiaomi 17 Ultra’ along with the standard Xiaomi 17. However, at this point it is just an assumption and we will have to wait for more updates before jumping into any conclusions. ]
Speaking more, in addition to the Xiaomi 17 series, the Xiaomi Pad 8 series consisting of the Xiaomi Pad 8 and the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro models were also introduced in China at the brand’s recent launch event. Also, ahead of this, a global launch event was also held two days back at which, the Xiaomi 15T series (Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro models), Xiaomi Pad Mini, Xiaomi Watch S4 41mm, Xiaomi Open Wear Stereo Pro, Xiaomi Band 10 Glimmer Edition, and the Redmi Pad 2 Pro series (Redmi Pad 2 Pro, Redmi Pad 2 Pro Matte Glass Version, and Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G) were unveiled for the brand’s global audience.
