The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi will be introducing its Xiaomi 17 smartphone series tomorrow in its home country, China. The series includes Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max models. The company has, till now, revealed a lot of details related to the upcoming series, and today, they have revealed some new features related to the Xiaomi 17 series.
Xiaomi 17 Series: New features teased
The Xiaomi 17 series is fully compatible with the 100W PPS universal charging protocol. Both Xiaomi and non-Xiaomi chargers can charge the devices in the series at high speeds.
Xiaomi 17 Pro series is equipped with the new Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery that adopts L-shaped packaging, special-shaped stacked battery technology with 16% ultra-high silicon content, and ultra-high battery energy density. It supports 100W wired fast charging and can be fully charged in 40 minutes.
Xiaomi 17 Pro series features the Leica Light Masters all-new imaging system. The first Light Hunter 950L image sensor is equipped with LOFIC high dynamic range technology, boasting a 16.5EV ultra-high dynamic range. The Pro series is codenamed King of Backlight.
Apart from this, Xiaomi has also announced that the Xiaomi HyperCharge protocol is now open to the industry for free.
