It features a seamless monolithic design with curved edges, a premium metal camera module, and a sturdy polymer build, backed by strong protection credentials including SGS 5-Star drop certification, military-grade impact resistance, and IP68, IP69, and IP69+ ratings. It packs a 7,200mAh battery with 44W fast charging, reverse charging, and vivo’s Super Battery Saving mode, with the company claiming up to six years of battery health and endurance figures of up to 68 hours of music playback or 45 hours of video playback. The phone sports a 6.75″ 120Hz display with up to 1250 nits brightness and TÜV Rheinland certification, paired with enhanced audio features like 400% volume boost and HyperSense Gaming Audio.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 4G chipset, paired with Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and the new Origin Island multitasking feature. It comes in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB variants with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, supports RAM expansion but not microSD cards, and includes a 50MP + 2MP rear camera setup and an 8MP front camera. Connectivity options include dual nano-SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB-C, NFC, and an Intelligent AI Linkage feature for better signal stability.

The vivo Y31d has been launched in two colour options — Butterfly Wings (Elegant White with a vibrant 3D lighting effect) and Nebula Black. The smartphone is currently available for purchase via DienMayXanh and TheGioiDiDong, with the 6GB + 128GB variant priced at VND 7,680,000 (INR 26,399.28) and the 8GB + 128GB model costing VND 8,540,000 (INR 29,355.45).
